Agriturismo il Torrione is an ancient complex dating back to the Middle Ages, first documented in 1558 as a fortification with a keep, walls, and moat. In the 18th century, it became a stately residence, known as the pallacium Torioni, and passed through the hands of various families, including the de Cordone, de Challant, Trucchetti, and Salasco families, who modified its appearance.
In the 19th century, Marquis Leone Doria Lamba purchased it, introducing a silkworm farm for silk production. Architects Ignazio Michela and Alessandro Antonelli transformed it in neoclassical style, separating the main building from the rural structures and creating a large park.
Today, the villa boasts a simple, elegant façade, with refined interiors such as the ballroom and a hall overlooking the park. To the east, the neo-medieval-style service rooms add further charm to this historic complex.
